What is a Blue Bay Shepherd?
The Blue Bay Shepherd is one of the rare dog breeds that is still under development.

1. She developed a cross between her personally bred fifth-generation Wolfdogs & Purebred American Blue German shepherds:
Sixth-generation wolfhounds mean that the parent dog is already six generations away from pure lupine blood. Therefore, it has low wolf-like characteristics.
The other parent, the blue German Shepherd, is a rare and expensive dog like black Germans with qualities that anyone would want in a dog such as loyalty, active, friendly and happy demeanor.

2. DNA From Eight More Dog Breeds Was Also Used To Produce Blue Bay Shepherd Puppies.
The purpose of introducing this breed is to obtain a dog with a healthy, stable temperament and training ability.
Wolfhound blood makes blue bay dogs tempered in appearance and strong in health, while shepherd blood makes them trainable and friendly.

3. How Was Name Of The Breed Determined?
The first puppies of today’s blue bay shepherds were bred in the Palm bay location in Florida and had this elegant blue colour; hence his name was Blue Bay Shepherd.
