Find a location that has the best temperature for your Peperomia Rosso, ie between 55° – 75° Fahrenheit or 13° Celsius – 24° Celsius.

Rosso loves moisture and thrives best in indirect light. Direct light may be a bit harsh for your plant, but fluorescent light would be ideal.

You can grow it near a sun-facing window covered with soft curtains.

If you don’t have a lighted window, you can still bring Rosso Peperomia and place it in a low-light area like your bedroom, lounge or office desk.

The plant can survive in low light conditions, but growth may be slower. For moisture, you can use humidifiers.

2. Watering:

The plant needs balanced watering, neither too much nor too little.

Ideal for watering peperomia Rosso when the soil is 50-75% dry.

Peperomias cannot sit in wet soil or excess water. It can damage it from the roots to the head. Therefore, you will need terracotta pots with a drainage hole in the bottom.

When watering, allow the crown and leaves to remain dry and rinse your plant well in the soil and wait for the water to drain from the trough.

This technique will keep the plant moist but unsaturated, which is great for growing your peperomia.

Note that Peperomia Rosso cannot tolerate drought conditions.

By a rough estimate,

“Emerald Ripple (Peperomia Rosso) needs watering every 7 – 10 days.”

However, it may vary depending on the region you live in.

In hot weather or in dry areas, the plant may become thirsty even before 7 days.

Moreover:

  • Peperomia Caperata rosso will not need misting.
  • During the winter, your plant will need to drink less water.
  • Don’t water your peperom during the fall and other cold months, sport Rosso.

You should only use fresh water to water your plants.

Rosso Peperomia needs regular fertilization during the growing season, which lasts from spring to summer.

For houseplants such as Peperomia Rosso, mix a mat and a balanced ratio of 20-20-20 fertilizer.

Once again, just like watering, when fertilizing your plant, avoid contact with the leaves and crown of your Rosso plant.

If your plant is new, wait 6 months and fertilize in the spring.

Peperomia Rosso is both an epiphyte and succulent, like blue star ferns. You should know this when preparing the soil for the pot.

Before moving your plant to a new pot, check that it is ready to move. How?

If the roots are overgrown and the soil is loose, the plant needs to be repotted.

This is a garden food plant, so it will need light, airy and resilient soil.

For repotting, you will first need to prepare soil that should be rich, well-drained. You can use gravel, perlite or sand etc to make the soil breathable. You can mix it with

The size of the pot you choose should be based on the size of your peperomia Rosso’s protruding roots.

The formula you can use to prepare the soil for the pot of your peperomia Caperata Rosso plant is 50% perlite and 50% peat moss.

Be very careful when repotting, as the roots of this plant are very clumsy and fragile.

In grooming, peperomia Rosso will need to be cleaned of dust rather than pruned.

When you see dust remaining on the beautiful leaves of your Rosso peperomia plant, mist the leaves and dry them immediately using soft tissues; otherwise rot or mold may explode.

Instead of constantly pruning and grooming your plant, make it a routine.

Regularly you will be able to maintain the attractive, intense appearance of your beautiful peperomia Rosso.

  • Root rot
  • Crown rot
