I don’t often drink whiskey on ice but when I do (or vodka) I find that the round ice seems to last longer than cubes. Maybe I’m imagining things but I find that one round can last for two pours. So I’m quite happy with these.

We don’t use a lot of ice in my household, but we will use a ball on occasion. I chose the 2 inch because they will fit easily in a pint glass, which are what we use for our everyday water glasses. We had some round molds previously that were rigid plastic and the ice was hard to remove. The silicone allows for easy removal. The built in funnel makes for easy filling. I like the clear tops so you can see how much to fill. I have filled each tray 2 or 3 times so far and have not had any problem with leaking.
