This product worked perfectly and as expected typically when I go camping I look for a nail in the tree and if I do not see one then I will put one but after buying this product I simply Loop some para cord around a tree and use this to hold it in place and then I click a trash bag to the carabiner to stay up off the ground away from the little critters and it stays very secure!

I got these to use with a tarp awning setup on our van. The lines are as short as they could be and still be usable for this purpose, but they have worked so far. The locking mechanism seems to work well (I usually throw in a safety knot, or extra wraps if leaving it for a while).
