My kitten is 4 months old and he has lots of energy. We setup a 5-level cat tree for him, but he was not attracted much. He scrathes the side of my sofa, my chair, and window curtains. We boguht this scracher toy to see if he can burn a little bit enegy on it. It works great! I found out I can place it right on top of the cat tree, and it matches perfectly with the size and the color. My kitten stays at the cat tree a lot now and he started to sleep on the tree in the afternoon. Installation was pretty easy, and it seems pretty firm. It would be a plus if the company can provide some washers for the 2 small screws, but I have bunch of them in my tool box so not big deal. Excellent product overall!!
