This replaced my dead RoboTwist battery-operated lid remover, which I loved, but I expected more than a year’s sporadic use from it. I have arthritis in my hands and the simplest cap gives me trouble. This arrived in time to open a salad dressing container and a jar of jam. It seems a bit counter-intuitive, but I was surprised at how little effort it takes. I actually thought it wasn’t working, removed it from the container and found the lid was loosened – on both the jam and dressing jars. It’s mechanical so no batteries – a plus. I gave it 5 stars on durability, but time will tell and I will revisit if warranted. So far, I’m liking it.
