How to use the liquid transfer pump:
- First, turn the cover to open the battery cover and place the batteries inside and close the cover.
- Then insert the suction tube into the supply cup.
- Insert the other end into the receiving opening and turn on the switch to start the transmission. Pressing the button again will instantly stop the transfer.
- When finished, hold the pump upright and lift the handle on the feed canister to drain back the fluid. Do not place the pump on the floor until all the liquid in the tube and pump has been drained.
- Run water through it after use to rinse the inside and prolong the life of your pump.
Notes:
- Do not turn on the switch when the suction tube is outside of the supply cup.
- It is normal for a small amount of transferred liquid to leak out of the tube of the electric liquid transfer pump. This leak happens because pressure is released to prevent liquid from reaching the battery area.

Siphon worked great battery operated is the only way to go no muss no fuss. I stick the siphon into the 5 gallon gas can then the other end into my snowblower tank and push the button and it fill the tank without having to lift the 5 gallon can easy peasy.
