I bought this reel for my girlfriend’s rod, it has a nice looking finish, and the important parts are metal. There are definitely plastic parts but for this price you can’t expect too much. The foam handle is nice to use, easy to grab and get a grip. The drag is strong enough for bass fishing. Overall smooth reel, does what it needs to, and happy with the purchase.

This reel is amazing and light weight, it feels like plastic but is actually a light weight metal, the ball handle makes it very easy to grip, and the smoothness of the spool is incredible, one of the smoothest reels I have ever had, I am only 13, and I still can get better reels on the market , but this is a good cheap starter reels.
