I have always disliked silicone in lotion – it makes the lotion seem to disappear and accelerate drying of the skin. Maybe that’s just me. But this stuff doesn’t use silicone and has some serious moisturizing power. I use it all over the dryest portions of my body. It’s also the best replacement I’ve found for the old discontinued Cetaphil hand lotion that I miss terribly. It’s very thick, so much so I have to cut the bottle open to get the last of the cream out (I fold over the cut edge and put a binder clip on it to keep it from drying out once cut). It does feel a bit heavy, but unfortunately, that’s the price you have to pay for the strong stuff, unless you tolerate the silicone stuff better than I do.
