Ordered this cleaver-knife for my fiancé for Christmas. He was thrilled! The weight of the steel was impressive but not too heavy to handle with ease. Ergonomically fits his hand. Very sharp edge. Leather sheath is very nice and protects blade well. Sheath even has loop for hanging it up or maybe even from your belt. Slices like a dream through thick cuts of meat or medium sized bone. Careful hand washing/drying is recommended. Store in sheath. Too much knife for me ( I may only use it to dismember chicken) but he loves it
