This flashlight is really bright on high setting and very useful on low for illuminating shiny objects. I like the zoom ability to make wide or narrow beam focus. the LED is efficient enough that we use Nimh batteries in it and get at least a couple weeks of intermittent use out of it before needing to be charged. I has not needed to be used in the rain or immersed in water so I can’t comment as to waterproofness. It has been dropped on a tile over concrete floor without damage, though I don’t recommend that as a test for any flashlight. A good buy. Would buy again if I needed another one.
