Traps are easy to bait, easy to release, easy to clean (if needed). The jaws do a clean fast kill … no torture, if you are sensitive to that. Very few escapees.
The bait cup is easily removed without opening the trap … no bruised fingers. You can handle, load and unload the trap by the rear handle; no need to touch the mousy part.
I find a crushed juicy raisin is far more effective than peanut butter. It’s important to break the skin of the raisin, so that the odor is attractive to the little beggars.
