I rescued a mare that was in really rough shape. As one of the many results of being neglected, her tail had become one GIANT dread lock/extremely matted. I got this for my Newfoundland, who hates getting brushed. She reaches her fur pulling tolerance and leaves; and there is only so much I can do to stop a 130lb dog from leaving when she is done. With this, I can get a LOT more dog brushed before she leaves. I was worried that it would make her all sticky and then she would collect dirt. As long as I don’t soak her with the spray, sticky is not an issue. I have accidentally sprayed me and her in the eye with it; no eye irritation. There is a smell to it, but it smells better than my dog most of the time; so that is cool.

Well, she’s still a complete mud pit but at least I got out all the tangles in her mane with the help of this product. Moistens so tangles and knots can be loosened and combed out.
