I don’t use these organizers to hold tools, I use them inside my gun safe to store magazines out of the way on the door of the safe. They work perfectly and have more than ample ‘power’ to hold 6 double stack magazines on each rack. I would suspect that if mounted correctly on a wall or workbench these would hold a handful of smaller tools or a couple of larger wrenches without problem. They aren’t pretty but they do a good job.
