My grand kids (5 and 11) like the Brainy Balancing Monkey Math Game. They quickly moved into making it more challenging by putting 2 monkeys and the number 3 on one side and then figuring out that the 5 did actually balance out the scale. It did not hold their attention for a long time, but it did make thinking mathematically more fun!
