Make sure you buy one for every dog in the house. I only purchased two, and I have four dogs. I did not think my older dogs would be interested in this toy. They never seem too interested in puzzle toys, but I forgot how food motivated they are. The dog I purchased this for didn’t get to play with it! My older dog took to it right away and was rolling it all over the living room, while my bully breed grabbed the second one and guarded it, nudging it between his paws. My puppy looked on wistfully, so I came back here to order more of these. Unfortunately, the bully breed dog also chewed up his so I am also purchasing a puzzle toy fit for an aggressive chewer. His treat ball technically still works, but it looks terrible. I would recommend.

At first my dog just stared at me and whimpered when I started putting her treats in this toy, but after I “pawed” it around some and she got the idea, she does enjoy when the treat ball comes out. The distraction for her only lasts maybe 15-20 minutes, but she enjoys herself. I am using this on a rotation with other toys that required interaction to get the treats so she doesn’t get board with it. The material has held well on this one (a previous one I purchased from another brand cracked/chipped within a few uses) through repeated uses. My dog weights 40 pounds, and she is not a heavy chewer, so it is working well for her.

Bought it for my cat. At first, they didnt know how to use. Was going to return, but next morning all the treat are gone. Guess they had good time. Keeping this.

Endless entertainment! And that’s what’s important, because my Loki IS a goddess of Mischief! She can chew / destroy anything and everything, but has not succeeded in chewing this! Very well made. Great idea. Highly recommend. I use Iams cat food in mine. Dog loves it, eating a bunch won’t hurt her (it only holds about 1/2 – 3/4 cup) and it’s cheaper and lasts longer than giving her bigger, more expensive dog treats.

Okay, first i want to say we got a 7 week old choc. Lab for Easter he gonbled food down so fast because he was use to fighting his siblings for food and puppy just don’t understand so i figured i would look up a activity bowl to help him slow down and i came upon this little gadget. It hold about 3/4 cup of dry food or treats.. and it has 4 sets on it.. you can close it all the way open in a small amount for small food or slower food coming out.. then you can have it open have way or all the way.. my lab loves it and he still uses it at 11 weeks.. he caught on with with first use, and it has tubles down basement steps, been tooking outside by the pup, its durable and i would recommend this feeder to anyone who want to keep their fur friend busy or slow down their eating
