This is a nice lightweight tool. I originally wanted it to cut down new grass I have fenced off as it grows and fills in. It works perfectly for that need. This grass trimmer actually has different blades for uses so I was really sold when I saw it can saw through small tree stumps. I have a few from the wild trees that sneak in and cannot wait to clean up my yard with this.

I love how easy it is to use this trimmer. The battery lasts quite a while and the trimmer does a great job. I was so glad I had chosen this one to get for trimming alongside our yard. Between our yard and the forest, it cuts a lot of small branches and vines right down.

This isn’t a perfect device. The device could be a few inches longer. The result is that I have to bend over a bit to reach the base of the brush I’m trying to cut. If you have a lot of brush to cut, and I do, it gets hard on your back. This device is also basically a weed wacker with a blade attachment. But for the price, it’s a good product. The blade takes a few seconds to really get going, which can be a pain if you let go of the button or the blade slows down on a thick branch. On thick branches it can sometimes get stuck and you have to pull it partway through, or the blade will just stop. For those, I have to jab the blade in and away, over and over, until the branch is cut completely through. There’s an aspect of having to fight with the device to cut through things, which should be expected. It IS running a high speed blade and when that blade meets a branch and abruptly slows down, you’re going to feel that as a push against your arms. That will always exist in a product you have to carry.
If anything, I would extend the length of the device, give it a more powerful motor and battery, add wheels so it rests on the ground, and it would be able to cut the base of brush without the user having to carry it, bend over, or fight the physics. Keep the lighter one for trimming overhead branches.
I’ve only had this for a few weeks so I don’t know how the battery life is yet but I’ve used it for at least an hour so far on one charge. I’ve charged it twice but the last charge was 2 uses ago.
