So not sure what this suction power option is but the Velcro works great as long as you clean the surface you are sticking it too before placing it (i recommend an alcohol wipe). It works well to shade from the sun, and it also works as a great window blocker if you have children that like to throw their toys out the window. It is a little hard to see through but not enough to bother me as i am driving. This is my second set, the First i left on my car for an entire year in all types of weather before i needed to get a replacement.
