These little things are LIFE SAVERS!! I use two in my washing machine and 2 in my dryer and they nearly remove all of the hair from our clothes! I have two “grand pups” that are currently living with me and shed like CRAZY and these things have helped tremendously with all of their hair on our clothing. Now mind you, these do not “collect” the hair, they more so rub against the clothing and knock the hair off. Sometimes I have to clean the hair out of my washing machine after using these but in the dryer it is all collected with the lint. I even use fabric softener in both my washer and dryer sheets in my dryer and these work just fine! I am so happy with these that I am going to buy some for my kids to have at their houses too.
