The contractor that built our home used something similar to this, so when I wanted to replace it, I bought this to use. It worked great, was easy to install, and so far has remained in place. I did cut the paperback peeling in half horizontally though, so that the strip was only stuck to the shower stall and not to my flooring. Worked great for my application.

Use a heatgun to soften it up and it works quite well. Also, I found that I need to apply some caulk behind. I used this because the person who installed my shower did a horrible job and left a one inch gap. You will be better served to simply caulk if you have a smaller gap.
