Door hinge installation is now easier than ever. These bits keep all holes drilled in a hinge, like a door ,directly centered so all screws seat flush and the door is not obstructed by screw heads. Also allows for hinge to seat perfectly in a recessed location for a perfect air tight fit! NO MORE walking hinge when you apply 2nd, 3rd or 4th screws to hinge. NO MORE slowly screwing each screw little by little to get perfect fit ! Just hold hinge in place, screw appropriate size holes for hinge through the hinge itself, and then apply screws to mount hinge. You tube “hinge drill bits” and you will see how fast and easy hanging hinges can be. The cone shaped tip on the spring loaded sleeve around drill bit alignes the drill bit in the cone shaped holes on the hinge to seat the drill bit perfectly centered in each hole and keeps you from drilling sideways by forcing drill bit straight in.

This center drill bit set was hard to find, for a long time I looked for a set like this. If you have to replace a hang on anything you must have a set of these. It get’s your strew in the center of the the hinge for good fit. Makes your work look good too and doors close good too.

I wish I bought these a long time ago. After eyeballing center on hinges, I needed an idiot proof way to ensure my pilot holes were perfectly centered. These bits have adjustable depth using a small hex wrench, and yes, the really do find and drill dead center. I highly recommend these.
