I haven’t used this yet but it could double as a costume because it’s THAT cute! I have a 28 pound Boston Terrier and I got a medium, I think I could have gotten away with a small though. The little fin stays upright which was a pleasant surprise! I’d highly recommend it even if it’s just for cuteness.
Update….I did take him to my friend’s pool and tried it out. He was a little too terrified of the water to prove its effectiveness but I still give it 5 stars.

The life jacket is great. I bought this for my 7 monthly old corgi and it fit her perfectly. The material is great quality and the straps provided enough room for her to grow into this life vest and wear it while she gets bigger. The vest dried pretty quickly after taking it off of her and leaving it out in the sun. The only issue that I had, which isn’t really with the vest, is that when placing my dog in the water she would swim for maybe a few feet then she would tip over and I would have to either pick her up or straighten her back out. I think it maybe had to do with the fact that she is still small but it kind of threw off her buoyancy. Overall this is a great product and I am hoping that as my dog gets bigger the buoyancy issues wont be that big of a deal. Definitely recommend this life jacket just keep and eye on your dog if they aren’t used to wearing a life jacket.

Our bulldog is a bit over 60 pounds (she’s got the density of a dying star) and so I ordered the large. Fits almost perfectly with the straps on the tightest setting. Probably could have gotten away with a medium, but it looks great! I don’t think I’ll be able to lift her with just the handle alone, but I wouldn’t expect to, considering how heavy she is

Blu about 110lbs (see pictures) was very intimidated by the pool until…duh duh…duh duh…this shark vest!!!! But no, seriously. We put this on her and she froze up at first but then got quickly adjusted to it. It fit her really well around her belly and chest and the adjustable straps allowed me to get it nice and snug on her. The handle on top helped us coax her initially into the pool and the front chest strap/float part helped keep her head above water. Then she was off!!!! It held her up really well and stayed in place for the most part. It had to be readjusted after a couple of shakes but that’s to be expected. I’m really happy with this product!

Ordered this for our 13 year old Springer to get him comfortable with swimming and it is working out great! The Velcro is a nice comfortable wide straps the the quick-clip straps are wide and very well sewn. We use the handle on the back to help him get in and out of the pool. Because we can cinch the body down fairly tight the float coat stays in place and doesn’t shift around even when he flails around a bit. It’s a process, but he is getting more sure of himself. The coat needs to be taken off so that he can relieve himself and I wish that there was a way to shorten the chest strap more. However, the product is well made and I would recommend this float coat.
