Calming and soothing effect from this lamp is excellent. Slow blend from one color to another with the gentle movement of sparkling particles is relaxing and visually interesting. Seems best to give it a good brief shaking when turning it on but after that particles stay in motion for hours and days at a time. Has no on/off switch so you’ll have to come up with your own way to handle that but otherwise a fine value for the money.
