This was a good combination of products and are easy to store together. I’ve already used both. I like that they are silicone and will resist heat well. Now I can get rid of the sharp-edged stainless steel flat drainer I bought earlier. (I was afraid I’d burn or cut myself on that one. Not a problem with this green clip on one. ) I tried it on a very small saucepan and a skillet and it held on OK.

I bought this for the spout specifically, because I deep fry in my Dutch oven that doesn’t have a rounded rim, so when I go to strain the oil it goes all over my sink and the jar I want to put it in, so I bought this and it fixed my problem. Have not tried the strainer, I don’t think I’ll ever use that part. But the spout works perfect.
