It’s very lightweight and beautiful. You can use the backing but I dont think it’s necessary unless you don’t trust that it will stay on your ear. I wore this to my prom and it just glitters at night. Very beautiful to look at also.

Super cheap, and light weight. It is kind of painful to put the chain through the piercing, but it’s only a pinch. That could just be that it’s because my ear piercings haven’t fully healed yet, so take that with a grain of salt.
